Asian Eclipse: Exposing the Dark Side of Business in Asia
Reviewed by: Tim Edwards

If you are looking for a business book on Asia that is different
from the normal run of the mill management and strategy books that
overwhelm bookstores, this book is for you.

Asian Eclipse delves into the dark side of doing business in Asia
and the Author, Michael Blackman, describes and gives accounts of many
dubious business practices which he believes contributed to the downward
slide of Asian economies.

The book is very informative and gives many detailed case examples to
prove the author's point.  The author is very direct and opinionated which
excites the reader but could alienate some people.  It is important to take
what the author says with a grain of salt and realize that this is one point
of view and this should not be used to make generalities about Asian
culture and business.

The book is an easy read and gives tons of detailed information about Asian
business practices. I would recommend this book if you are interested
in business in Asia and would like to learn and hear different opinions
on the topic.
