I have located a very interesting one, which deals with the reemerging country of Vietnam. The website is Vietnam Online. It is reported to be the first public website in Vietnam. I have chosen this site because my business proposal is scheduled to be bicycle tours in the countryside of Vietnam.
This website has many different areas to explore. Some of them include Business, Newsstand, Culture, Travel, and what's new. I looked into the Business link. Inside this area you can located Vietnamese business throughout the country. You may also find out who the local representative is in a given region. For companies looking to enter the Vietnamese business arena they may want to look at the Foreign Investment projects. All of this information may prove to be very helpful for my business venture.
Two articles that I read were very interesting. The first one
reported about the continuing issues of unexploded ordinance in the Vietnamese
countryside due to the Vietnam war with the United States.
This adversely affects
everyone who works or lives in the rural population of Vietnam.
It also would impact my business of bike riding tours. The second
article is dealing with the crack down of satellite dishes owned and used
by the general
public. The Vietnamese government has forbid the use and ownership
of these dishes by the public. The proliferation of these dishes
due to more open trade policy is continuing to grow.
Overall this website will be very informative. However if you do browse and read these articles, you must remember that all articles are written or censored by the communist government. I hope you enjoy this growing and informative site.
