Asia in the World Economy is a really interesting and helpful Web Site which
has been created to support managers and researchers chiefly concerned with
the economy development of Asia. This site has been created with the support
of the Center for Business and Government and the Pacific Basin Research Center
at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.It is really hard but also really interesting to describe the variety of information
that this Web Site can provide and its helpfulness to its users. This Site provides
links to information on all aspects of Asian countries and the region as a whole,
including historical sites, galleries of photographs, and information on government,
politics and society.In the Home page of this Site one can find seven general categories of information,
each one of which provide the most complete information about each country of
Asia and also about some other countries around the world. These seven categories
are:Best Sites provides a long list of web sites related with Asia in a general
manner or with each country of this continent.The Countries of Asia provides the most complete economic, political and social
information about each country of Asia linked to one of the twenty-five Asia
countries listed in the main page. This is, in my opinion, the most valuable
resource of information founded in this Site.Regional Resources and World Resources provide a really useful source of information
about Asian countries and other countries around the world. These sources include:
magazines, newspapers, maps, organizations, and economic data, among others.
Search gives the users the possibility to access to more than ten of the most
important search engines in internet, such as: Alta Vista, Alta Vista in Asia,
Infoseek, Yahoo, Yahoo in Asia, Lycos, etc.About This Site describes the essence of this Web Site and the information it
provides.In my opinion, this is a really interesting and useful Web Site in which one
can find a huge variety of information. However, I just recommend its producers
actualize some of the information presented to give its users the opportunity
