Far Eastern Economic Review
Review by: Shih-Chung Lin

I found a wonderful web site www.feer.com.  This web site offers a weekly selection
of articles from their print magazine. Posted articles remain on the site in
a searchable archive.  Use of the site is free.

“The Far Eastern Economic Review”, known as “the Review”, published weekly in
Hong Kong and is considered Asia’s premier business magazine.  It is wholly
owned by Dow Jones & Company, the publishers of “The Wall Street Journal”.
The magazine is published and circulated every Thursday.  Its circulation is
currently over 95,000 copies, and is concentrated in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore
and other parts of Southeast Asia.

The magazine reports on politics, business, economics, technology, social and
cultural issues throughout Asia, with a particular emphasis on both Southeast
Asia and China.  The first issue of the magazine appeared on October 16, 1946.
For a half-century since then, the Review has reported, first hand, the momentous
developments that have shaped modern Asia.  The Review also publishes the Asia
Yearbook and several other books. Each January, it releases the results of the
Review 200, a region wide survey designed to identify the companies that Asia’s
businessmen and women regard as leaders in their class.  Among other popular
features are their quarterlies, which include segments on Where to Put Your
Money investment and the annual Asian Innovation Awards, now entering its second
year.

I highly recommend this web site to all those people who want to know about
Asian business, politics, economics, technology, social issues and culture.
This web site illustrates the latest business news and Asia’s stock markets.
I think this web site is very helpful.
